It seems that only on Sundays do we tell ourselves as moms that it is okay to sit down in the middle of the afternoon and watch a movie. Most days, I rent a movie and wait until everything else is done before I watch it, which half of the time means that I don't actually get around to watching the movie. Yesterday I rented Kitt Kittredge to watch with the kids, but didn't get around to watching it. So it's Sunday afternoon, and it's a rated G movie - so we're piled on the bed watching a movie!

Sabbath Day
It seems that only on Sundays do we tell ourselves as moms that it is okay to sit down in the middle of the afternoon and watch a movie. Most days, I rent a movie and wait until everything else is done before I watch it, which half of the time means that I don't actually get around to watching the movie. I cannot remember the last time I sat down and watched a movie.. and the last show I went to in the theatre was the Indiana Jones Movie. All the more reason I cannot wait for Twilight to come out!!
nice. geoff let's me sleep in on sundays and its the one day a week that i feel like i got to sleep all night. we watch movies together too. fun.
