Wedding Subway Art

I made this project for one of my "old" young women from our previous ward.  I had it printed as an 8x10 and modge podged it to a canvas I had painted black.  Have I ever mentioned that I like word art? :)

Spencer Turns 12!

Due to technical difficulties - and no time to work on them -  this post is actally from last Sunday but is just being posted today

Though hard for me to believe, my Spencer turned 12 today! As you may know, I consider Spencer to be my baby. Kayleen is Tim's baby, and Spencer is mine. So it is quite a thing for me for my "baby" to turn 12! Yesterday we spent the afternoon in Provo, shopping at the BYU bookstore, having ice cream from the creamery, attending the BYU vs Utah Basketball game, and then to dinner. His choice. It was a great day and I'm so excited for next week - he'll be a deacon!

I made him and and his friend t-shirts to wear to the game.   During the game, he had the camera and took a bunch of shots so that he could use them for his Photography Merit Badge. These are some of his favorites!!

Too many days lately have felt like this...

It's been almost overwhelming and I have let it consume me.

A week ago several things happened that made me remember that

While the week hasn't been perfect (haha) - I have felt so much lighter and am beginning to feel as though I can take control again.  Yesterday someone I follow on facebook posted this quote...
