JOKER!

Tim got up at 5am this morning to get ready to be at work ar 7am. It was definitely a unique experience for me to watch him,and help him , with his hair and makeup!!

When all was said and done it was rather frightening!!! He had a great time putting it all together . I wasn't quite sure what to think when he wanted a kiss goodbye!!

Halloween 2008

Indiana Jones practices his whip skills. He knows there is a trap waiting for him!!!

Indiana Jones hunted the Clone trooper, who was very subtly hiding behind the tree!!! Watch out for that whip!

The clone trooper is fighting back, but it looks as if he is outnumbered by both Indiana Jones and the cowgirl!! Will he escape?

The pink and purple cowgirl is on the lookout! I think she has someone in her sights!

Amazing Video of Christ

I just want to share this amazing video. The pictures are actualyl currently on display at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building until Nov. 8th so I hope to get down there and see them. It also uses one of my favorite songs... Sometimes I just need that extra boost of the spirit and this video is a good place to get that!

CRAZY HAIR!!

Crazy hair day at school today to celebrate Red Ribbon week. I have to say that this is one of my kid's all time favorite dress up days!!! And somehow the wackiness puts everyone in a better mood in the morning. What does it say that there are no pictures from the first day of school, but I managed one for crazy hair day!!!

Half Birthday!

So in the course of a random conversation, Tim mentioned that the next day was the anniversary of the day he entered the MTC 19 years ago - half his life ago!! I counteracted withe the fact that the next day was my half birthday. So that night, Tim decided to make me a cake. He even made lemon which is one of my favorites, but not his. The next day we had cake, with candles and everything to celebrate my half birthday. So next year on my actual birthday I'll have pictures of me blowing out candles of a cake to remind me!!! Thanks Tim- I love you!!!

Lost...

I think I've lost my mind... If you've seen it could you return it please?? My family is suffering with out it.

Kid Fall Pictures

We decided this year to try to take our won pictures instead of doing school pictures. These are some of the shots we took yesterday in the canyon by Brigham City. The kids got to just run around and play and I heard "Mom" yelled from 4 different directions when they found what they thought would be the perfect pose for another picture!!

Pics (and ponderings) from the plane...

So I know it's a random thing, but since my kids have never been on an airplane, I decided to take some pictures from the plane window so they could see what the view was like. I have a song that I really like by Cherie Call that talks about a girl on a plane. She is prepared to read a magazine for the duration of the trip when the stranger next to her strikes up a conversation. He says that he could be an atheist except for just one thing.

Sometimes, but not enough, I look around and realize what an amazing world we live in. All the crazy unpleasant things are from man. When I look around at our Heavenly Father's creations, it passes all my understanding how much He loves us!!

Just to let you know - notice the lovely finger - but it hasn't slowed me down!! I still seem to use my computer just fine!! I am, however, thinking that this stiches are not going to stay in for the prescribed 10 days!! [I'm such a whiner, aren't I :) ]

Enough Said!!!

California here we come...

Tim and I are headed to what is supposed to be Sunny California this weekend. Of course it is Northern California so the weather doesn't always follow the rules and the Weather Channel is predicting rain...

My brother is getting married on Saturday! Tim and I are going for a very quick trip and the kids are staying at Grandma and Grandpa Norris' house. I made them all conference packets with goodies and brand new colored pencils so I hope that Grandma and Grandpa get to hear at least some of conference!

I'm so excited to see my all of my family - I think it's been almost 12 years since we were all together in the town where we grew up. Hopefully the rain doesn't stop me from taking too many pictures!!!

Most of all I am excited to spend a weekend with Tim. Yaa, it will be crazy and hectic, and sometimes my family can be a little overwhelming (we tend to be loud, opinionated, and sarcastic) but at least we get to be together!!!
