We may not like the inconvenience of the snow, but there is nothing like Utah when the sun is shining and we have a beautiful blue sky right after it snows!
Today I was feeling a little stir crazy so I loaded
everyone in the van and told them we were going exploring. They kept asking where we were going but I told them I didn't know.
They dressed warmly because I told them we would probably be getting out somewhere.
We first headed to Daybreak to check out the progress on the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. I guess the sun had fooled me because it was really cold!! But it was beautiful and the kids endured it long enough for me to take
some pictures. Then I decided to head the opposite
direction and go and check out the Great Salt Lake. Sometimes I forget how close we are to it. When we found a place to get out, Kayleen was the only one that wanted to, so the boys stayed in
the van while we looked around and took some more pictures. To me the magic of snow is that it makes everything look beautiful.
